The Client

Hockley Valley Resort is a 28-room hotel situated on 300 acres of Hockley Valley, Ontario. Established in 1985 by Nancy and Mario Adamo, Hockley Valley Resort offers guests refined dining venues, relaxing spa amenities and treatments, squash courts, fitness facilities, an 18-hole Scottish Links golf course and various winter activities, including skiing, snowboarding and snowshoe hiking.

Before 360 Visibility

Hockley Valley Resort used to spend 30 minutes or more each day on manual processes in order to monitor business results. The accounting team would print a daily sales report from ResortSuite; then proceed to manually consolidate them into a summary by payment type and by department. The summary was then manually entered into Microsoft Dynamics NAV and posted. Since the accounting team was not in the office over the weekend, this meant that business owner, Nancy Adamo, and CFO, Peter Tan, were not able to view results of the busiest days until accounting had completed their manual data entry on Monday morning.

Implementing Dynamics NAV

After assessing the problem and understanding the requirements, 360 Visibility replaced the resort’s cumbersome manual routine with the 360 Link Pack for ResortSuite. This robust integration provides customers with automated integration of ResortSuite’s activities into Dynamics.

The integration routine first summarizes the data contained within ResortSuite’s daily activity table and then imports the summary into Dynamics on a scheduled basis. Once the ResortSuite data is in Dynamics, it is immediately available for analysis.
