What You'll Be Doing:

As our Microsoft Team Lead, you will be the technical cornerstone of our support operations, with a dual focus on excellence and growth:

  • Escalation Management: Serve as the final point of technical expertise for escalated issues across Microsoft solutions (M365, Security, and Azure), ensuring rapid and effective resolution for our customers.
  • Customer Success: Champion the best possible technical support experience, monitoring service quality and implementing improvements to customer satisfaction metrics.
  • Professional Services Opportunity Identification: Actively identify opportunities for small to medium-sized Professional Services projects during support interactions, translating technical needs into actionable proposals for client growth.
  • Operational Excellence: Drive efficiency by identifying and implementing new, streamlined processes and leveraging the latest technology to improve our support delivery model.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and technically guide the support team, fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and strong problem-solving skills.

Technical Requirements:

We require demonstrated, hands-on expertise with the following core Microsoft Cloud technologies:

  • Microsoft 365 & Core Productivity: Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, and related licensing/administration.
  • Microsoft Security & Identity: Strong background with Microsoft Entra ID (including Conditional Access and SSO), Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Office 365, Cloud Apps), and Microsoft Purview (DLP, Information Protection).
  • Azure Cloud Services: Practical experience with Azure IaaS (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage), Azure Backup/Site Recovery, and Azure Monitoring/Security Center (or Defender for Cloud).
  • Automation: Experience with PowerShell for managing and automating tasks within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
  • Certifications (Preferred): Relevant Microsoft certifications such as AZ-104, MS-102, SC-200/400.

  • Technical Curiosity & Ecosystem Knowledge: A proven, personal interest in constantly growing your end-to-end knowledge of the entire Microsoft ecosystem (M365, Azure, Security, etc.). You don't just fix a problem; you want to understand the entire connected process.
  • Efficiency Mindset: A consistent drive to find better, faster, and smarter ways to do things using current and emerging technologies.
  • Relevant Experience: Substantial experience supporting and troubleshooting enterprise Microsoft solutions, ideally in a leadership or escalation-focused capacity.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent ability to translate complex technical issues into clear, concise action plans for both technical staff and non-technical clients.
