Community Living is a non-profit that advocates for people who have an intellectual disability to be fully included in all aspects of community life. Community Living is proud to serve and advocate on behalf of more than 12,000 members across the province. There are over 100 local Community Living associations that make up Community Living Ontario’s membership. Local Community Living associations – Community Living London and Community Living Thunder Bay – approached 360 Visibility because they wanted a solution that unified their systems and drove new operational efficiencies with a responsive, experienced partner.

Upgrading Dynamics

Upgrading to the latest Dynamics GP

Community Living London worked with our Dynamics GP consultants to upgrade their current outdated version of Dynamics GP in 2016, and again to the latest version in 2018. Along the way, we added the ability to support Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) for accounts payables and accounts receivables with email payment notifications. Also added was SOP invoicing and emailing of invoices.

As a result, Community Living London is better prepared to manage their internal financial management and accounting needs with a smarter, simpler business management system.

Migrating to Dynamics 365 Business Central from Dynamics NAV

Community Living Thunder Bay worked with our Dynamics NAV & Dynamics 365 consultants to migrate their existing on-premises version of Dynamics NAV to Dynamics 365 Business Central in the cloud. In this process, our consultants were able to identify many legacy customizations that were no longer needed as they have been replaced by standard functionality in Business Central.

Community Living was able to meet their needs of working with a responsive and experienced partner, move to the cloud and get off their on-premises installation, and remove unneeded customizations and add-ons.

As a result, Community Living Thunder Bay is now running an always up-to-date, advanced functioning, and exceptionally simple to use business management software that allows them to do much more efficiently with less.
